Stimulating the Economic Vitality of the Schoodic Community
About the Chamber
The Schoodic Area Chamber of Commerce is made up of local people in the Schoodic area from the communities of Franklin, Gouldsboro, Sorrento, Sullivan, Winter Harbor, Steuben, Milbridge, Cherryfield and surrounding areas working together to promote our businesses, organizations, and activities. Our aim is to increase the visibility of the businesses and organizations located here.
We bring people into the area through events such as the Annual Lobster Festival and Trade Day and we provide opportunities for local businesses and organizations to grow through Chamber website listings, advertising in the annual brochure, local networking opportunities, and radio and print advertising.
The Chamber helps community members through contributions. We are proud of our Scholarship Program for high school seniors who are seeking further education and training opportunities after graduation. The Chamber is a volunteer organization and welcomes the participation of both members and nonmembers in supporting the many various Chamber activities. Join us!
