Join us for a weekend packed with fun, food, and festivities as we celebrate Franklin’s 200th Birthday! We’ll have historical exhibits, a parade, delicious food, live entertainment, and activities for all ages. It’s a celebration you won’t want to miss! FRIDAY JULY 18TH: 1:00 PM Opening Ceremony, 1:00 PM Playground Dedication, 1:30 PM Bicycle Parade. Ongoing Slide show presentation at Community Center. 4:00-7:00 PM Fannie Blaisdell Paintings Exhibit at Historical Society (food provided). Tour at Center for Cooperative Aquaculture Research (CCAR) (Time TBD). SATURDAY JULY 19TH: 7:00-8:30 AM Vendor Set up for Craft Fair. 9:00 AM-3:00 PM Craft Fair (Handcrafted Items Only!). 10:30 AM Parade “Embracing the Past, Celebrating the Present and Planning the Future…” Line up is at 8:00 AM. Afternoon Fannie Blaisdell Paintings Exhibit at Historical Society. Tour at CCAR (Time TBD). 5:00-9:00 PM Dine & Dance at Franklin Vets Club Music by Al Corey Band & Prime Rib Dinner. 5:00-6:30 PM Bean Supper at Franklin Methodist Church. 6:00-9:00 PM Evening Aglow at Community Center (New Fire Pits, Music by Crown Vics, Bring lawn chairs). SUNDAY JULY 20TH: 9:00 AM 1st Franklin Horseshoe Crab Run (Registration at 8:00 AM). 12:00 PM Afternoon on the Lawn (Music by Ellas & Fellas, Brisket Cook Off). 4:00 PM Closing Ceremony.
