The Union River Center for Innovation in Ellsworth is hosting a free legal webinar for Maine businesses, titled Legal Issues for Startups, presented by Eaton Peabody Attorneys at Law. This webinar, taking place on March 31st at 11am, will help area businesses navigate the common legal issues that startups and new small businesses face, including determining the proper legal structure, protecting the company’s IP, attracting and retaining talent, startup financing options (debt v. equity), and the dynamics of working with investors, advisors, and legal counsel.
