Saturday, February 5th from 9:00 am-3:00 pm. In conjunction with Schoodic Institute’s Acadia Winter Festival, potters Anna Woolf and Neal LaSalle will demonstrate raku firing outside Rockefeller Hall, 1 Atterbury Circle, Winter Harbor. Participants will gain the hands-on experience of glazing as they learn about the firing process and witness the magical transformation that is unique to raku. This event is free. Thursday, February 10th from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm via Zoom: Virtual workshop. Needle Felted Snowy Owls with Maureen Andrew. Learn to sculpt these lifelike woodland birds using wool. Materials provided.
